🗿 Cutter + Stamp Face – "Blissful Ignorance"
Meet the most chill guy in your studio! The "Blissful Ignorance" model features a face that has mastered the art of meditation (or standing naps) to perfection. Its elongated features and half-closed eyes give it a noble, yet slightly comical look. This design is the perfect base for those who don’t accept life’s complaints before their first cup of coffee. By combining the stamp and cutter, each of your pieces will have a perfect, repeatable shape without the need for manual cutting.
Sizes:
-
Large: approx. 24 x 13 cm
-
Medium: approx. 18 x 9 cm
-
Small: approx. 10 x 5.5 cm
🛠️ How to handle it? (KikaArt Instructions):
-
Clay Slab: Roll out the slab to approx. 6–8 mm. Make sure the clay is smooth and bubble-free.
-
Cornstarch Magic: To ensure the stamp details don't stick, dust the clay or the stamp with potato flour (cornstarch). This makes the tool pop off the clay like a dream!
-
Imprint: Press the stamp firmly and evenly across the entire surface. Focus on the center to ensure the nose and lips are clear.
-
Cutting: Place the cutter over the contour and press down. The cutter is perfectly aligned, so you don't have to worry about margins.
-
Finishing: After cutting, smooth the edges with a damp sponge.
🎨 Artistic Tips:
-
Contrast: Fill the indentations (eyelids and lips) with darker engobe to emphasize the "sleepy" look.
-
Usage: Brilliant as a plate for "stress-relief" snacks or as a decorative tile in a relaxation area.
